Trust & safety

Market integrity

The protocol is permissionless, so integrity work happens where it can: transparency of on-chain data, quality signals, and moderation of what this interface shows.

What we commit to

Fair markets

No privileged trading access, no hidden fees, no interface-side price manipulation. Every quote comes from the on-chain market maker.

Transparent creators

Creator history, markets, volume, traders, resolution record, is derived from chain data and shown publicly.

Resolution integrity

Outcomes come from bonded proposals and challenge windows in the resolver contract, never from an interface decision.

Quality signals

A deterministic quality score highlights vague questions, missing sources and thin liquidity before you trade.

Manipulation and wash-trading monitoring

All trades are public, so patterns such as self-crossing, repeated round-trips between related addresses and last-minute pushes before closing are observable in the data the interface already indexes.

There is no automated enforcement engine today. Monitoring is manual review of public on-chain activity plus user reports; suspicious markets can be labelled or de-ranked in the interface, and nothing more.
#monitoring

Spam prevention

  • Market creation requires a USDC bond and minimum seeded liquidity, which makes bulk spam expensive.
  • Minimum market duration prevents throwaway instant-resolution markets.
  • Duplicate and low-quality markets can be de-ranked or hidden in discovery.
#spam

Interface moderation, not protocol control

  • The Platform can hide, label, de-rank or delist a market in this interface.
  • The Platform cannot pause, edit, resolve or delete an on-chain market.
  • A hidden market remains fully tradable by anyone interacting with Arc directly.

Reporting

Use the report action on any market page to flag unclear resolution, duplicates, prohibited subject matter, misleading questions, wrong topics, spam or manipulation. Reports are for interface moderation only.

No moderation backend is connected yet, so a submitted report is stored locally in your browser and shown to you as pending. Send anything urgent to [SUPPORT_EMAIL] so a human sees it.
