Creator Terms

You accept these terms once, per wallet, before your first market creation. They supplement the Terms of Use and the Market Rules.

1. Creator responsibilities

  • You are the author of the market question and rules, and responsible for their accuracy and lawfulness.
  • You must write a question with exactly one binary outcome and a single, checkable resolution source.
  • You must set a closing time that is achievable and a resolution deadline you can support.
  • You must classify the market under an accurate topic.
  • You must comply with applicable law in your own jurisdiction.
#responsibilities

2. Clear wording and objective rules

Resolution criteria must let a neutral reader reach the same answer you would. Avoid subjective adjectives, undefined thresholds, and phrasing that depends on interpretation.

Good

Will the ETH/USD price be at or above $6,000.00 at 23:59 UTC on 31 December 2026 according to the named reference source?

Not acceptable

Will ETH do well this year?

#wording

3. Prohibited subject matter

You must not create markets covered by the Prohibited Markets policy, including markets on personal harm, illegal activity, sanctions evasion, private personal information, or anything that cannot be objectively resolved.

#prohibited

4. Duplicates, spam and misleading markets

  • Do not deploy near-identical markets to farm fees or visibility.
  • Do not create markets primarily to advertise, mislead or manipulate.
  • Duplicate and spam markets may be hidden or de-ranked in the interface.
#duplicates

5. Creator fees and claim mechanics

  • Under the current configuration you accrue 0.25% of applicable trading volume in your market.
  • Fees accrue in the protocol and are claimed by you, from your wallet, in a separate transaction.
  • Earnings depend on real trading activity and are never guaranteed.
  • Fee parameters may change for future markets through protocol configuration changes.
#fees

6. No control over resolution

Creating a market does not give you authority over its outcome. Resolution is performed by the market's resolver under its own rules, including proposal, bonds and challenge windows.

#no-resolution-control

7. Content licence

You grant Proodos Group BV a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce, translate and distribute your market question, rules, topic and image reference for the purpose of operating and promoting the interface.

#licence

8. Frontend moderation and reporting

  • The Platform may hide, label, de-rank or delist your market from the interface, including on the basis of user reports.
  • Interface removal does not delete or disable your market's smart contracts.
  • Repeated policy breaches may result in all of your markets being excluded from discovery in the interface.
#moderation

9. Creator statistics

The interface derives public creator statistics, markets created, volume, traders, resolution history and quality scores, from on-chain activity, and displays them on your creator page.

#reputation

10. On-chain permanence

Market creation is a blockchain transaction. Your question, rules and wallet address become permanently public and cannot be edited or deleted, by you or by the Platform.
