KAIRO Perps
KAIRO Perps is the perpetual trading product inside KAIRO. You fund a trading balance with USDC from Arc, then open long or short positions on supported markets. Perps is one product inside KAIRO, not what KAIRO is.

What you can do
- Browse supported perpetual markets and their live prices.
- Open a long position if you expect the price to rise, or a short position if you expect it to fall.
- Choose leverage within the limits the market itself allows.
- Monitor open positions, unrealised PnL, margin and liquidation price.
- Close or reduce a position at any time the market is trading.
Order types, leverage limits and available markets come from the trading venue, not from KAIRO. The trade panel shows exactly what is available at the moment you trade.
#basicsCollateral and the Arc corridor
- Hold USDC on Arc in your own wallet.
- Deposit into your perps trading balance. The transfer crosses through Circle's CCTP corridor and is attested by Circle before it lands.
- Trade using that balance.
- Withdraw back to Arc when you want the USDC in your wallet again.
A deposit or withdrawal is a cross-chain transfer, so it takes longer than a trade. A deposit interrupted halfway can be resumed from the same panel.
#collateralFees
- KAIRO applies a 0.03% builder fee on perps fills.
- The trading venue charges its own taker and maker fees, and funding is exchanged between longs and shorts.
- Arc charges network gas on the deposit and withdrawal transactions you sign.
Risks
- Leverage multiplies losses as well as gains. A position can be liquidated and lose all of its margin.
- Funding payments can run against you while a position is open.
- Perps rely on an external venue and on cross-chain transfers; either can be delayed or unavailable.
- Prices can gap, and a liquidation can happen faster than you can react.
